Meet The Owners
Tail Blazers Old Banff Coach Road is a locally owned and operated franchise proudly led by new owners Pamela and Jonathan, dedicated pet advocates who believe that proper nutrition is the foundation of a long, healthy, and happy life for pets.
Pamela and Jonathan were drawn to Tail Blazers because of its commitment to high-quality, natural pet foods and its focus on education, transparency, and animal wellness. Their personal experience with the positive impact of thoughtful nutrition inspired them to help other pet owners make informed, confident choices for their pets.
Pamela was born and raised in Quito, Ecuador, and later made Canada her home. Jonathan was born in Creston, British Columbia, and has lived in several cities across Canada. Together, their diverse backgrounds have shaped a strong appreciation for community, connection, and shared values. After moving to Calgary in 2024, they quickly felt welcomed and proud to call the city home.
As devoted pet parents, Pamela and Jonathan share their lives with two beloved dogs, Katherine, a sweet 14-year-old dachshund, and Eva, a spirited Chihuahua. These two are central to their family and are the heart behind their passion for pet health. Through their own pets, Pamela and Jonathan have seen firsthand how quality nutrition, enrichment, and attentive care can significantly improve a pet’s wellbeing and quality of life.
Understanding that pets are truly family, Pamela and Jonathan are committed to creating a welcoming, knowledgeable, and supportive environment for the Old Banff Coach Road community. Their goal is to support local pet parents with trusted guidance, healthier food options, and personalized care.
With a strong belief in education, community involvement, and compassionate service, Pamela and Jonathan look forward to building lasting relationships and continuing Tail Blazers’ mission of improving the lives of pets through natural, species-appropriate nutrition.
