Meet Your Presenter

Gwen has more than 25 years of experience with Rottweilers and has spent many years training, competing, breeding, and teaching. She has trained and competed with her dogs in obedience, rally, tracking, herding, drafting, and Schutzhund, with a particular passion for competitive obedience.

Her Rottweiler, Leto, made Canadian Kennel Club history in 2021 as the #1 All-Breed Obedience Dog in Canada. Gwen's approach focuses on building a strong relationship between dog and handler through engagement, play, patience, and reward-based training.

A Note About Gwen's Demonstration Dog

Gwen may be accompanied by one of her Rottweilers to demonstrate some of the techniques discussed during the seminar.

Her dogs are experienced working and competition dogs and will be attending specifically for demonstration purposes. To help keep the experience comfortable and positive for both Gwen and her dog, we kindly ask attendees not to approach, pet, call to, or otherwise interact with the dog unless Gwen specifically invites you to do so.

When not participating in a demonstration, the dog will be resting in a designated x-pen area. Please give this space plenty of room and allow the dog to relax undisturbed.

We appreciate everyone's cooperation in respecting Gwen's training practices and helping us create a comfortable learning environment for both people and dogs.

Pre-registration is required. Space is limited.
